Question clutch problem, advice needed.

When I depress the clutch pedal I get a whining and sometimes grinding noise. The clutch seems to work ok other than the noise. Thrust bearing? (just a guess)
Would it be ok to drive the car like this for a few days, until I can book the car in for a replacement clutch. Or should I stop driving it and use public transport.
Any advice appreciated
Cheers.

I think you are right about the fault, it could go on for ages or expire quickly, but I don't think I would use a bus because of it! Don't delay though! Expensive to fix....
