Induction kit - worth it?
As I've just posted elsewhere on here, I have a Tek3'd P1 with a full decat. I'm getting a K&N 57i induction kit and Walbro pump fitted soon along with a further remap.
Question is then, will a mapped-in induction kit actually add that much to the car's performance? Notwithstanding the MAF issues sometimes associated with these kits, are there any other problems?
The car is currently 305bhp/295tq - low down torque is what I'm after and I'm not that bothered about pub-talk bhp figures Do I run the risk of losing this with the induction kit?
Bob Rawle is doing/has done the remap. I'd mail him directly but he must get swamped with these sort of questions day in day out so I thought I'd give his inbox a rest

When Richard Bulmer re-mapped mine the induction kit had to be removed and replaced with a cotton air filter. This reduced the inlet temp by 14 degrees ...... I think the induction kits are good on big big BHP cars but not so clever on the lesser stuff.
