You probably won't notice any performance increase or noise. Lose front cat and you will know instantly that you have more power!

When I swapped the resonated pipe for a straight-through section I noticed a BIG increase in noise, especially when cruising around 60-70mph. Very noticable pops & bangs too. The droning noise got on my nerves so I refitted the original resonated section. I doubt it makes any difference to the performance - the original resonated pipe is a straight-through design.
