what are the technical issues with using a large piped backbox?
...if any? not talking about the noise, more wondering about the running of the car in general.
or is it a case of the bigger the pipe, the better it works?
my car was TEK2'd for using a magnex backbox (with full decat) i don't suppose it will affect anything fitting a 4"(+) pipe will it?
cheers

Will be noisier, and make no significant difference to power/performance etc unless you are already running very serious power levels

cheers for the reply mate, i'm more wondering if there are any downsides or negative effects to the running of the car though?
i don't suppose it makes a blind bit of difference, i'm just making sure before i go and spunk a load of money getting one when to be honest i don't really need it (just want it)
