Not worth mucking about finding one. If you've got a new(ish) car that is still under manufacturer's warranty, the best filter(s) to fit (in order) would be the STi, K&N or Green.

The STi won't violate your warranty, K&N shouldn't (and they say they'll help you fight the case if a dealer refuses a warranty claim) and neither should the Green.

The APEXi panel filter is a deep pleated paper filter (as the STi JAP version) so i cant see why it would be any different to K&N, Green if there is a warranty issue?? Surely there can’t be a rule for one AFTERMARKET product and not another... being a paper element unlike the K&N surely the APEXi filter has to be a safer option.. ??

The Apexi, was apparently in a group test and came top with good filtration and very good air-flow.

That's the rumour I heard from here http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...52#post3149752

Thanks for all this Scott... a real help. The APEXi filter looks good to me. Just hope they’re not too oil based to create any probs.
