MY00 rear diff final reduction & is it LSD?
As per the title really...
The rear diff from my UK MY00 is up for sale (£100 - http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...55#post3148655) and I've a potential buyer asking is it LSD and what's the final reduction ratio?
According to http://www.iwoc.co.uk/impspec2.html it's 3.545 but says nothing of whether it's LSD or not.
Does anyone know and how can I find out??

Get all 4 wheels off the ground ie hanging on a car lift and have car out of gear and spin one rear wheel the other will spin in the same direction if LSD and the other backwards if not
Hope I'm correct in this

If it's off a UK Turbo 2000, you will have an R160 diff with a 3.545 ratio and a viscous coupled limited slip function.
Mike: For what it's worth, your "test" isn't proof positive that the diff is limited slip or not. There are plenty of LSD's that will spin the other wheel in the opposite direction, and a few open diffs that will spin the other wheel in the same direction.

Indeed it is greasemonkey! Thanks for your help.
While you're answering diff questions, out of interest, what's the centre diff on the UK cars - is it the same as the P1?
Also, what diffs does the P1 have front and rear?
Thanks :-)

Also, what diffs does the P1 have front and rear? 3.9 plated LSD in a 160 casing for the rear and a free running 3.9 in the front
Thanks :-)
