Ive got a 1993 wrx import and it has a strange diff on it that knocks when you go round corners etc.

At first i thought my wheel bearings had gone but it is aparently something that was fitted in Japan so i have to take corners at speed to stop it from knocking!

Has anyone ever heard of this?

Ive asked the importer to put me a new one on, a normal one that does'nt knock.

How long would this take to replace, is it a major job?
