Hi everyone,
The clutch on my DBM MY99 is slipping.
Is there any adjustments I can make or do I just go out and have a new one fitted?
If I get a new one which do all you scooby gurus recommend?
Thanks
Dean

Thanks for that Brun.
I've had 2 DBM scoobs & 1 STi, both clutches on the DBMs have been a little rough.
The clutch on my STi was far smoother, if a little heavier so I assume that was uprated.
Looks like it's new clutch time.

Andy McCord, l think you may have your Exedy adjusted / set up wrongly as we have fitted dozens and they are distinctly ' un-grabby '. Very nice to use and have superb grip. There is a cheap one available and a proper 'AP Organic' version, maybe thats the problem.
The cheapo ones for about 90 odd quid are exactly that.......

David, when u say adjusted what exactly do you mean?, the clutch was fitted at prosport, but the flywheel was not skimmed as peter does not recommend this, which is prob why i get a little judder, its a lot less juddery than when it was fitted (500 miles ago) but still slightly juddery.

I fitted a cheapo one yetserday, 94+vat. pmsl
the judder has gone and the pedal action is mucho smoother.
the car is also a 99uk and had a slippy OEM item on full (albeit uprated) boost.
the difference in acceleration is astounding now all the power is making it to the road (!)
