Oil smell from heater ?

Hi
I have a P1.I have just had a new piston fitted and the engine checked over.The problem is when the engine has warmed up to mormal temperature and i put the heater on i can smell fresh oil smell,not burnt oil.If i put the heater on recirculate i dont get it.I have no oil leaks which i can see and i am not losing any oil.Any ideas?
