Question

I'm just wondering if these simple thoughts are about right stuff I've dragged from all over the place

backboxes change the sound (tone?) of the exhaust, will make some extra noise over the usual, and won't make much difference to power. Bascially make the car sound better but don't do a lot else.

mid sections remove the catalyst, give extra power, and a bit of extra noise (but the same 'tone'...)
and

downpipes remove the other cat & give the most power & the most increase in noise.

Presumably the bits nearer the engine won't work very well if the bits at the back aren't there though.

A bit basic, but is that about it? I drove a full SS system once - great noise, far too much of it (well, for me ). Fabulous power too, but that bit's going to have to wait...

Close enough

The rear box makes the most noise, the dp just makes it sound better in the car `cause you can hear the turbo spinning up
