hi all
one of the head gaskets appears to have died on the wifes leggy turbo
i know i need a head gasket set but is there anything else worth doing
at the same time
i'm intending to pull out the engine so access to parts isnt going to be too bad
should i do a little port matching on the headers etc?
also gonna fit a new cambelt anyway
anyone think of anything else worth doing/uprating at the same time especially if its cheap

things i'm renewing so far are
head bolts
oil
filter
a-freeze
head gasket
cam belt

head bolts are reusable mate

you may also need cam seals rockergaskets inlet gaskets exhaust gaskets and even though you can reuse the headbolts play safe and get new ones they are stretch bolts after all

 

cheers m8 do i need these bits as seperate items or would they come in a full head set
as ive got a little time and the engine will be out is there owt else youd recommend
esp as its got 160k on it
