Been on a year - just wondered !

I'm no expert. I've had these on two previous cars - one for over 2 years and I never cleaned them.

Dont see how you can clean a K&N...

You can clean them. You wash them and re-oil them. Instructions on what to do come with the cones.

However, K&N rate them for x thousands of miles before they need cleaning. Unless you live in a very dusty area or desert.

Just make sure you don't over-oil the element - MAF failure and possible lunched engine follow

I seem to remember that it is 40,000 miles between cleans.

You can buy a cleaning/re-oiling kit for them, Demon Tweeks sell them I think.
