Huxley,

Just logged on m8 and seen this.

Regarding the oil you mention, I have not read of anyone using this oil. This topic has been covered in great detail in the past. I recommend a search, especially the main bearing thread, around 6 pages long of the best info, by people who are very experienced. Following that there has been a few more threads on oil.

To cut a long story short for now, The conclusion was to use Castrol RS 10W/60 or Motul 300V 15w/50.

The oil you mention is too thin for the scooby motor.

Do that search, highly recommended.

Cheers,

Wrexy.

Thumbs up

Hueley
Halfords have a deal on at the mo.
Mobil one 15-50 4 litres for £28 and if you spend over £50 you £10 off.
So I got 8 litres for less than £50....bargin.

Cheers
Iain

Got some Castrol RS 10w-60 after speaking to Castrol in Pangbourne today and told Reg Vardy in Reading are the only people that stock it in the area!! £52.88 for 8ltrs

I hope that it's a good price
