Was hot this weekend, very hot. Noticed a pool of water under the car, hmm, not good, noticed that it was also dripping from car, hmm even worse. Popped bonnet and could see where it was coming from. Looked through a gap on right hand side of engine and there seemed to be a pipe, pointing down, where the water was coming from. Any ideas what this is? My guess, and it is a guess, is that it's the water from the radiator expanding due to heat and this is some kind of over flow pipe. engine water temp seemed normal and car has been running fine. Any ideas what this was?
Also, how does one top up the radiator? where;s the min and max marks? distiled water?

could be, that would make sense, A/C has been on, plus with it being a jap import it's got semi-auto climate control and it's been set to the coldest setting and 'auto' so that could account for the water i guess.
just want to make sure it's nothing serious.

update
as mentioned by carl, and confirmed by others, looks like it is the AC condensor. Part of the job it does is to dehumidfy, which means it takes the water out of the air, this water has to go somewhere, and yup, you guessed it, it comes from the pipe I was looking at.
glad to know it was not something serious.
cheers guys
