P1 Exhaust centre section replacement
#1
Has anybody done this in conjunction with an existing WR silencer?
I don't think there are any cats in the centre section (not on a P1, I believe there is only one in the downpipe) but there are a couple of silencers/resonators that in removing would clean up the gas route.
Any recomendations on source? Scoobysport are the obvious. ScoobyMania have a new one(and quite inexpensive) - although I have had personal experience of them failing to deliver!
Obviously the ultimate exhaust job would be the downpipe as well, but I'll deal with that on a sepearate thread.
Cheers...

I thought there was a cat in the centre section. Ive had my mongoose transfered from my old sti5 typeR to my P1. Looked like a cat on the original exhaust. I know there is also a pre cat in the downpipe. Maybe some1 who knows their stuff can enlighten me!

I had the full SS system fitted on my P1.
Normal cat in the downpipe and just a box in the center section but no cat. My system is loud but does sound the biz. Power also up to 307 BHP.

I do like the idea of going over 300bhp, but swapping the d/p for the MOT seems like a lot of work.
I have heard thet the power engineering centre section (cat ver) could replace the cat on a P1. But then the MOT is 18months away so maybe a full downpipe would be nice.
But for the moment I am wondering about just the mid-section in conjunction with the std P1 downpipe and the WR rear box (which I already have.) The question is has anybody tried it before?
Or even catless d/p and mid section with the WR rear box?
