Guy's, I have a fully decatted my00, with K&N panel filter and dawes,
I've found an ae801 ecu for sale for £100, would it be worth me fitting it, I currently have the 802 which people say isn't as good as the 801.
Your opinions please!!
Ron.

I would definitely advise you to do it, price is very good also, and if you don't like it, I'm sure you would sell it on here all day long for a hundred notes. I have a MY00, and swapped to an AE801 in Dec 2002. Car went sooo much better, pulled harder in all gears, definitely came to life. A few months later I fitted a PPP ECU, and I have to say, in lower gears there was greater difference between the 802 and the 801 than there was between the 801 and the PPP. If you don't go for the 801, or want to sell your 802, give me a mail, I'm looking for a spare incase I sell the PPP at some point.
