Fuel injector's, 380's,440's 480's etc, how do you know what's fitted ?

Hi folks,
I know you can get different ratings of fuel injector's for scoob's but without measuring the flow-rate how do you know what's fitted?
Is the design of injector , injector harness socket etc standard across the model years?
Is there a rough rule of thumb re. what flowrate is good for a certain horsepower?
Finally what sort of % safe duty cycle do people aim for?
Regards,
John

John,
Firstly there are two series, ~98, and '99>.
UK cars ~98 have Grey 380cc.
99> have Yellow 440cc(3 spray jets)
Jap cars ~96 Grey 380cc.
97/98 Yellow 440cc (single spray jet)
99> " 440cc ( 3 spray jets)
480cc Yellow I believe are from the Legacy, or Forester.
Apexi 550cc are normally Purple.
Mark.
