Back in Feb I took delivery of my brand new RA V-Lim. Now things are nicely run in and performing well I'm considering a couple of changes.


The first question is which exhaust system ?

I'm after a DP, BB and possibly centre section. One of my main concerns is noise, I use the car daily and don't want to be forced to use ear defenders (or go deaf) on longer journeys. My last car had a scoobysport BB and I loved the noise but with the RA I'm concerned that maybe a DP and BB would be too loud ? Does anybody run a full system on an RA that is used as a daily driver ?
Has anybody tried just a DP and standard STI BB ?


The second question is which induction kit ?

I'm considering K&N, APS, HKS (racing suction kit). Any suggestions ?


This is all in preparation for a visit to 'uncle Bob' later this year/early next

Scott J Davies is your man - he's got the same car as you and has a SSDP and BB and a Magnex Centre. It's <B>LOUD</B> and I don't think I could live with it but then, a fair few people on this bbs think I'm a wuss in that respect

He's also got an HKS pod but have a chat with him about that also...
