So what should win in a straight line,(from 40mph start) the supra with the high spoiler or my02 wrx.I only ask as i had a run in with one today and it was neck and neck.I'm not sure what lumps in the supra but i hear 3 litre twin turbo and if thats the case i feel my mota did good or r the supras slow and my car is slow too!!

I think you'll find a genuine twin turbo Supra will be a fair bit faster than a std 02 WRX - escpecially from rolling start.

Assuming it's in good nick that is.

13 secs to a 100 is about right for those I think - maybe less.

It may have been a non-turbo Supra, which is nowhere near as quick.

Asssuming its a Twin turbo, it has 326 bhp, and is easy to get more out of!!! If its an Auto it should be pretty evenly matched, if its a manual it will have the legs on a a scooby. My friend is collecting one this weekend, 350bhp, reckons he will have the fastest car in the car park, good for an indicated 180mph+!!!

There was a Japanese market 3 litre NA Supra - most over here look identical to turbos - and I think there are probably more import NA 3litre cars the Twin Turbos...

Remember though 4 speed auto supra = slow (most of the cars in the uk are autos, these are barely faster to accelerate than the manual non turbos)
6 speed manual = very quick!!!

In the dry the manual will win!!!

Found out that the high spoiler models were twin turbos ( 93 to 96 ),its only the old model supra ( pre 93 ) that will have single turbo or no turbo at all so the old scoob did real good !! Oh ye my02 not standard no cats and full s/sport zaust with itg panel filter,
