intercooler hoses!

I can buy STI-intercooler hoses with part n° 144 62 AA 180 (Y-shape part), 218 30 AA 060 (junction), 144 62 AA 190 (junction). Should they improve something on my car, and will they fit on my MY98 Eurospec LHD Impreza?

: no improvement in performance, just a bit more safety. The standard Y-pipe has been known to split - even on standard cars.
I'm not sure about the fitting... but my guess would be that it fits without any problems. But as I said, I'm not 100 % sure.
