Hi, I'm a first-time Impreza owner.

Two questions...

1) What sort of diff setup is there on an Impreza?

2) Can the clutch pedal bite-point be changed? I would like the pedal a bit further away.

TIA,
Eddie.

Oops. It's a y2000 5-door Impreza. I presume it's got LSDs, as it never spins a wheel, that I can detect.

Eddie.

If you're talking about a UK Turbo or other non-STi, centre and rear diffs are viscous coupled and front is a regular open one. Look here for probably more than you ever wanted to know about the car's transmission layout.

Clutch is self-adjusting so bite point is pretty much fixed.
