Thumbs down

I think all cars after 92 need a cat for an MOT, but I had both mine removed 2 yrs ago (93 WRX) and have had no bother passing....I just find a friendly garage !! I suspect that import WRX's arent listed on the emissions list anyway so some garages will have to turn a blind eye....
good luck
Dan

Cool

No you do not need a cat , as the car is not on the list of cars in the manual it is just tested as a non cat car . Cars after the middle of 95 need to pass a set of emission that requires a cat . The reason I know this is because I had my MY96(made in late 95) mot'd a little while back and phoned the ministry to see if I needed a cat or not .
