I know it is an odd thing to do, but I posted up a thread relating to a techie subject on 22B.com,

I would repost it again here, but it seems even more silly once it is started somewhere else.

I am hoping for an informative discussion on this one, so

I've had a stab at it... It may catalyse the thread, and at least people will be able to pick holes in my statements for entertainment, if nothing else.

Havent looked yet nick but thanks.

Pat has given me some thoughts on this.

It would appear that the lag that I am concerned about consists of two elements. Turbo lag and pressurisation lag.

Turbo lag is just related to the mass inertia of the turbo and is irrespective of the intercooler. the other is pressurisation lag, related to the volume of the intercooler and probably a whole load of parameters such as temp, efficiency, flow rate blah blah blah.
