Depend which model. There is an American series of workshop manuals made by Chilton. Cover all makes of Subaru from 85-96 inc the impreza (but not turbo as the Americans didn't get one) So if it's for an early car and you want it for things like brakes/bodywork/mechanical etc you can buy it online - most book shops can get it for you. Code number is (8259)64302 if you are interested
