how much bhp can the oem clutch take
#1
as title says cause in feb i will be around 320 bhp and was wondering weather the clutch can take it bearing in mind its still the origianl on 96k miles at the minute

I think it depends on your driving style
I have ~400bhp & have done around 14k on that, with the original clutch (although the car's done a lot less miles overall than yours). Others burn through the clutch with the standard power.
I'd say, given your record so far, it won't have a problem It's life will probably be shortened, but it's probably not too far off as it stands!

When i done my mods (aiming for 400bhp), the standard clutch kept slipping.
Its mapped for 350bhp at the moment and im glad i changed.
I dont think you will have a problem with yours to be honest though.

I just bought an uprated one from lateral because the 600lbft paddle I had was too much for use with a 300lbft engine.
Don't know of this ones rating but thought it was over 400lbft mark.
It certainly feels exactly the same as standard.
