Coolant leaking
Has anyone got a diagnosis for the following symptoms:
Had a crack in my radiator on Wednesday, had it repaired and re-fitted it yesterday.
No problems - til this morning. On the way into work and stopped at the lights and started to get steam coming from under the bonnet.
Get into work (keeping a very close eye on the temp gauge).
Let it cool down a bit then had a look and could see that it had been leaking from the top hose. Took it off and cleaned every thing up, refitted and top the water back up.
Ran it up to temperature and thought, problem solved - then I noticed 2 drips on the floor
One coming from the left hand side front (near the manifold) and then another from somwhere near above the oil filter.
Could it be the water pump or maybe just a gasket?
Any help would be great - i'm supposed to be going to the midland meet on sunday and don't want to miss out
This is for a '92 Legacy Turbo by the way.
Cheers all, James
