I am using it now together with the AVC-R.
Great stuff. You will have to find a good tuner to do the tuning. The default mapping that comes along with the ECU is quite aggressive already.

How bad is to start using it with it's default mapping (on a European car) and than tune it step by step on a "trail and error" basis (no AWD dyno in Israel ) ?
Also can anyone recommend a reliable source for the product.

Dukas,
It is possible to tune the car on the road and get a good result that's close to optimum, but it's a bitch to, and you'll require a wideband O2 sensor, some really sensitive ping microphone, long clear stretches of road and a tuner who knows what he's doing.
Even if you start with the base map (they're useless unless you have 100RON gasoline like the Japanese), it'll still take at least half a day to get the job done. We're talking about 20 load points vs 20 rpm points on the Power FC, of which you need to program 15 x 15 at least for a comprehensive map. Each, for both fuel and ignition. And guess how you'll be simulating steady state loading like a dyno. Heh. Just imagine this: you're doing 6000rpm in 3rd gear and the tuner turns to you and says "Ok, hold the RPM and step on the brakes to raise the load until I say stop..."
That said, I'd like to point out to everyone that I'm NOT advocating this method of ECU tuning. There is simply no equivalent substitute for tuning your ECU on a dyno. But for your case, if one is not available for hundreds of miles around, you might want to try what I suggested.

Does anyone know someone who can supply, fit and map this product in the UK??
Someone mention Option Motorsport. Does anyone have their number, or if they have a website (for the UK operation)??
Thanks
Andy
