I have been lurking during the recent postings on the WRSport silencer and would like to ask:

1. Does it come with a circular tailpipe option rather than oval?

2. How much from a dealer? I know someone has guessed at 300 quid but anyone know for sure? With it being Sunday an' all I've searched what UK dealers websites I could find without any success.

3. The PPP silencer sounds a little unpleasant at high revs IMHO, sort of a compressed air sound if you know what I mean . Does this new WRSport have the same characteristic?

4. Anyone going to Donno with one on? I do stress it is the WRSport I'm interested in, not the box that comes with the performance pack.

Many thanks,

Otis.

Hi Otis,

Did you have any luck on the search for me? I've tried but cannot find anything at all really useful.

I've just fitted a HKS Hiper to replace my back and centre. It sounds great and seems to pick up a little better too.

Cheers m8

The WRSport silencer has an oval tailpipe. It's internal design is different to the Performance package silencer and it doesn't have such a pronounced hiss at high boost/rpm.

Retail price is £350 inc vat from any dealer.

Thanks Mike. Not too hot on the oval tail pipe though. Any plans for a round tailpipe in the future? It does seem to be the preferred choice of the majority owners.

Failing that I assume it is OK to fit a second hand PPP silencer when you have not got the rest of the package?
