I need to have the cambelt changed on a STi 5 with air con and have some questions .
1. is a uk belt the same ?
2. can any competent mechanic change it ?
3. do you need any special tools ?.

Yep..UK belt is the same..
Special tools .... not really.. but the cam clamps make it really...really easy----er.. lol
Becareful of damaging the valves/pistons.
Remember you have 4 pulleys and the centre crank to line up....

have just received the belt courtesy of youself the part number is 13028AA072 and seem to recall you saying this was the later type belt suitable for a ( 99 MY STi v5 air con )will be fitting it next wednesday to customers car and will follow your fitting instructions carefully however if i have ordered the incorrect belt please let me know
