Thanks for those who replied to my dump dilema... HKS all the way

However moving on.... Inductin kits. I once have a VR6 that when you added one of these sounded like a TVR witha loud induction note (well baby TVR maybe) Wondered...

1. Does it cause the same kind of note / induction sound?

2. Will it affect the idle / fueling through the airflow meter or will it be ok with standard map fror a time?

3. Is it a waste of time & will just get dirty and do nothing?!

Having fitted a few of these to VW's in the past...

Will I have to sacrifice any conections / breather pipes etc if I remove the airbox in favour of a large cone.

Finally.... Which is the L O U D E S T & will it work ok with the HKS super-dooper-ptshwoosh-ptsh BOV

Had a Blitz one mate which was really loud and complimented the dump valve nicely. Could get on your nerves a bit though.

Sold it recently as I had a few error messages on the ECU (airflow etc) and went back to a panel filter. Seems a lot of people run them without any problems whereas others swear that you shouldn't use one. Mine runs better without to be honest......
