Hi Peeps

Does anyone use the above?

Is it any good?

How will it perform mated to a Magnex back box and centre pipe?

Are Pipercross Induction kits any good?

thanks in advance!

Pipercross Induction Kit is top 'kit'. In the only independant test I have seen on induction kits, the Pipercross gave the most 'gains' (test included K&N and the Jap ones) - hence why I bought one only cost c£70 too

Don't know about Supersprint DP tho

Cool

Hello!

I use the Supersprint downpipe and would recommend that you buy the scoobysport downpipe as it has another design that will give you better response from the turbo and more power torque than the supersprint item.

I have a Pipercross on my 98 and the gains are very good in throttle response and mid range power, the unit also makes a great sound.

Read my post on MAF sensor failures and just be careful if your car is a MY99 or newer.

Hi,

Just bought the Supersprint downpipe. It's being sold here thru the dealer and others and from those who fit them I hear good reports about fitment and finish. Don't know much about power gains - yet. I have chiptuning and was advised to use a non cat downpipe with the chip to profit the most of the powergain.

greets, Peter

Hi,

EMS (Engine Management Systems) by Mark Verhoeven - he's Dutch. Not a complete ECU replacement but a piggyback chip. I'm very satisfied with it. Befor this I had an open Scorpion system 3.5" but a chip has the most noticable powergain.

Cheers, Peter

Hi

Forgot to mention that I haven't fitted the dp yet. That's why I can't tell you much about gains.
btw Mark Verhoeven is currently investigating a power package which should lift the power to 300 plus BHP and some 400 Nm torque. This includes a chip, larger turbo and a free flowing (or catless) exhaust system is recommended.

Cheers, Peter
