Please let me know what difference the downpipe makes - I've a PPP too & am considering the same!
Thanks
Richard
PS: an alternative to a full induction kit is to remove the resonator as well as fitting the ITG

I've got a my00 with PPP and am having a scoobysport downpipe fitted tommorrow.
I understand that The DP takes out the first cat and the PPP gives you the backbox
Do I still have the original centre section or does the PPP replace that too?

As part of the PPP, you get a Prodrive backbox and mid-section. With the downpipe in place, you will have no cat's on your car!!
Enjoy the extra noise, and the turbo spooling up quicker!

Get an inductor kit instead!!! There's a big enough choice out there & quite a few threads about them!!
Oh and remember to tell the insurance company about all your mods, so they don't have an excuse!!
See you on Sunday

With my current insurers I'm honest about my mods, as they cover them 'like for like'.
If I was with another company, I think the excuse for a downpipe, is to replace the standard exhaust with a stainless steel one! Downpipe is part of the exhaust system, so it seems like a fair comment.
Also as part of the PPP, half the exhaust was replaced, and you want to have a complete stainless steel exhaust!
They shouldn't put the premium up if you change the air filter, but it maight just be worth seeing how much they will charge you!
