Question

Just a quick one, having the front pipe done this week and am wondering whether the running of the car will be affected in any way.Are there any sensors on it that you have to be carefull with or any downsides to be aware of? (I appreciate there will be some more noise and less mile/gallon)Thanks.

I asked a similar question about a week ago.
App, you need to fit new boost restrictor (£5) and celfix when fitting decat downpipe.
Boost restrictor is to prevent overboost and celfix is to stop engine check light coming on due to lack of cat (I think that it sends the ECU the "correct" signals to make it think it still has cat).

Also, you should seee boost picking up about 500-800rpm sooner with downpipe.
Hope that all makes sense...

Alex
