I got a complete H&S decat on my MY00 wagon.
Although it's totally fantastic out in the sticks when your giving it it some serious stick, it's a tad on the loud side inner town and when you got passengers.
So I'm finking bout changing the centre section for a resonated one, I see Scooby Mania do one for 108 quid, bargain
a) Is this gonna make much difference to the noise, it's more the drone I wanna get rid of?
b) Is it gonna make much difference to power and drivability?
Cheers

I think most of the noise comes in through the boot on the wagon..
I am considering a 3inch system with bung so I can quieten it down when I want as I love the noise from mine but the neighbours and family when I get in later and leave early don't.. else that or an excuse for tubular headers which quieten it down a little too I think..
As to power loss.. no much I think it is something like 2bhp..

You probably won't even notice the power difference, or only just barely ar worst case. It should help reduce drone and drop the overall volume by 1 or 2 dB.
