Question

does any one know anything about this oil ? it is 100% synthetic SAE 5W40. my tuner has recommended this for my car but i have never heard anyone mention it.

help is appreciated

Yes, it adds 50bhp and 75lb/ft torque

Only kidding, i have heard that Motul are reputable oils. Dont think there is any advantage over the specail Mobil 1 or Silkolene or Castrol RS or Shell Helix Synth though so sometimes if it aint broke, dont try and fix it!

Sam,
I am using Redline 10w40 fully synthetic.If it does all that Redline claim - you cant go wrong!

i am running thier oil know so will see if it any difference. i doubt it very much though.

That wouldn't be Falkland would it?

They've put Motul in my car since I got it a year ago and I've had no problems.

we use motul 300V Competition in our groupA rally car, lots of the top rally cars use it, copes really well with high turbo temps.

yes they are falkland. that is the oil they use and i only found out when i was getting my new turbo fitted so i was a bit snookered. no other choice or time to research this brand.

if it gets your approval then i feel more at ease. will it be ok in a road car though. i am running more boost than standard and a bigger turbo than standard also
