I was the same. I loved the SS box when I was blasting aroound, but as the balance of my driving shifted to motorway use, I grew tired of it.

I tried thick carpet in the boot, but it didn't help and I eventiaually swapped back and I'm much happier.

The only concellation is that there is a ready market for used SS back boxes.

Wink

pg9am,
if you really can't get used to it, give me a shout and I'll make you an offer for it.

Cool

You could use some car audio related product (bitumen mat, or some type of that spray on stuff) to sound proof/deaden the trunk, to get rid of some of the resonance sounds.

Myself though I love the way my car sounds with the SS backbox.
