Question

In a thread about the magnex mid-section I could read this:
"I did have trouble with the front mounting bolts though, as they appeared to create too much preload on the springs, almost causing them to crash, when tightened up. I had to add washers to the shouldered step, on the thread, to effectively increase the clamping length of the bolts and reduce the preload on the springs. They still crush the springs quite a bit more than the std set up, so am keeping an eye on the joint to ensure no cracking of components takes place."

I thougth the fitting of the mid-section was very easy and there would be a perfect fit???
any comments welcome

Hello MTR!
Thanks for your information.
