Question

just lookin on the jap STi parts website http://www.subaru-sti.co.jp/parts/impreza/cat3.html and they do a rather nice exhaust...



also fitted as standard on the S201 and S202, any ideas of where i can get one ordered from for my STi6?

There's a local chap up here with one of these fitted. One of the best sounding exhausts I've heard on an Impreza. Lightweight too, as it's mostly titanium.

I'll get him to post up his comments on it.

I have heard this exhaust from a WRX and STI03 and believe me compared with Prodrive PP or Scoobysport back box it's worse IMO, not to mention that power gains are negligible over factory muffler!

JIM THEO, what do you mean by worse? do you mean noise wise? louder of quieter? have just sold a Blitz cos was gettin on my **** and givin me headaches.

seen the scooby sport systems but the quality looks a bit bodged.

Peccy,

Compare the bends in the pipework to your Apexi N1, i'd personally keep the Apexi as its far less restrictive.

The STI box imo is not that nice, when you look into it looks like some bizarre conical shape....yuk.

Worse regarding noise quality (not noisy) and look except the STI logo, although it's quiter from PPP & SS backbox.
