My MY00 has a porous block, I have only had it 3 weeks, and now it has been in the garage for 2 weeks, awaiting new engine. Very annoying.
Has anyone else ever heard of a Scooby with a porous block, or am I just unlucky?

I had to have a new engine in my scoob my99, it was burning oil turned out to be a broken oil ring. It happened while building car in japan and the more miles it done the worse it got until the bore was badly scored.
Not sure what a pourous block is,
could you explain the symptoms.

i've heard of something like this on a my00 , it was a porous head.
