I had my car serviced for the first time about three weeks ago, and when I got home I checked the oil level after about two hours and found it to be about 6mm low, when I queried this with the dealer thet said that if is was up to the full mark it would burn the oil down to where they had filled it to. The question is am I supposed to beleive that load of bo**ocks or are they right?

I think you will find most garages do not fill the oil to the top line. If to much oil is put in the car it can get sucked up the lines to the wastegate solinod and giving overboost problems.
