SS Mid Section.....or not?!?
I have a SS downpipe & backbox fitted to my MY00 and are VERY pleased with not only the significant performance increase but also the nice throaty sound the car now develops. (I can just about get away with the sound the car makes now...but any louder and my nieghbours may start getting p****d off!)
My question is this....Would I notice any further performance gains in fitting the SS de-catted centre section? And would it make the car even louder??
Also, I have read previously that a ful SS system will produce 'flames' in the correct conditions. Is this correct, or am I just talking a load of c**p?!?
Cheers!

Hi,
Yes...there will be more power...
Yes...there will be a slight change in exhaust note and volume.
Depends which system you purchase.
I think Pete does a completely un-slienced system and one with a silencer/resonator box in.
I opted for the straight thru unslienced pipe which I mated to my SS Downpipe and Backbox. I am very happy with the outcome
Cheers
