Question

I`ve heard that the booste solonoid needs cleaning from time to time , How do you do that ? Is it acase of removeing all 3 pipes and squirting a load of carb cleaner down the ports or is there something else to do after ?
Cheers Dave

IIRC the FAQ gives the procedure for cleaning these pipes... As I recall, it is, as you suggest, basically a case of cleaning the hoses (and valve?) out with carb cleaner, resecuring them properly (v.important) and taking the car for a spin before the carb cleaner all evaporates! Quite a tricky job, getting it done safely and quickly enough to beat the carb cleaner!
I suspect the carb cleaner will do a fairly good job even if you don't manage to blow it right through the entire system...
