Where is the intake air temp sensor on an STI5 or 6? And is it any good? Was thinking of possibly re-locating it and using it as a plenum temp sensor with my power FC. Also does anybody know what ECU pins it uses on an STI5?

MRT have the Link STi5 pin outs somewhere for download. Not sure what range it reads, believe it's normally located before the air filter (really usefull.. ).

My 5 Type R has a sensor on the duct that feeds air into the inner wing gubbins, dunno if this is what you mean?

Cheers Ragnarock, that just what I wanted. Does anybody know what temp it will happily measure up to?

Cord,

I raised same question time ago with same intent (PowerFC).
That time, if I remember correctly, Bob Rawle told me the MAF was incorporating the temp. probe...
(BR pls correct if I'm wrong).

Did you find any info about this sensor wiring to the ECU ?

I THINK its pin 13 in B136 connector. But I won't be able to confirm this for a good while as my car is in bits
