AFTER SPEAKING TO SCOOBYSPORT EARLIER TODAY I AM CONSIDERING A SS DOWNPIPE AND BACK BOX. I ALREADY HAVE A PRODRIVE BOX FITTED AS PART OF THE PERFORMANCE PACKAGE ON MY 99 MODEL AND ALTHOUGH IT MAY SEEM LIKE A WASTE OF MONEY IM QUITE TEMPTED TO GO AHEAD. SCOOBY SPORT TOLD ME IT WOULD MAKE A CONSIDERABLE DIFFERANCE TO THE CAR AND COMMENTED ON HOW A PRODRIVE EMPLOYEE HAD TESTED THE SAME SETUP AND FAVOURED IT TO A P1.
I KNOW THAT SCOOBYSPORT ARE COMPETENT AND DO NOT DISBELEIVE WHAT THEY TELL ME BUT, I WOULD BE GRATEFUL OF ANY COMMENTS YOU GUYS MIGHT HAVE BEFORE I SPLASH OUT £650-00.

Walker,

I have the SS downpipe on my UKMY99 PPP'd Scooby, and i can confirm that it made a big difference to the way my car goes. Many people have the SS Back Box too as the Prodrive one is alleged to be quite restrictive in comparison.

Both parts carry a 25 year warranty and the SS BackBox is probably the most widley used back box upgrade used by Impreza owners.

I dont think you will be dissapointed with the outcome.

As for Scoobysport in general, you couldnt have a nicer bunch of people working on your car. They know their stuff and their products are very good IMHO.
