I am also looking for a new exhaust for my sport at the moment, and to be honest the cheapest option I seam to have found so far is a custom made Powerflow exhaust, I have been chatting to a guy at the centre in Southampton, and he can do a cat back system for £345 + Vat.
They seam to give a good increase in BHP compared to some of the off the shelf systems.Powerflow exhaust Think there is a comparison chart in the technical section.
As for the air filter, I got a green cotton filter from TSL and that seams to be fine, but have not noticed any real difference after having that fitted?
If you want to talk to like minded people about sports you can try imprezasport.net

Yeah I have just found that out from someone on Impreza sport net. Think I will be going for that, although there is something nice about the idea of having a completly custom exhast system?
