I have a 22B Jap Spec and I am almost sure the clutch is about to die.

If I need to replace the clutch, what are the other options or makes available and what are the recommendations ?

I think that the 22B has a differnt clutch to anything else (smaller flywheel) We (Scooby Mania) can get one through AP as they supplied 16 to IM for the UK cars straight off the boat.

Colin Tinto had his 22B clutch replaced, and fitted an STi V clutch (with new flywheel).

I think GGR supplied the goods, and the cost of the kit was about £700

Speaking to Park Lane - most of them converted the Ceramic clutch of the 22b to the STi Group N clutch which is also a paddle/button clutch but is slightly more forgiving.

Don't know the price tho'.

Cool

Howdy..

For a Grp N Paddle clutch from Prodrive its about 120 quid... thats just the clutch plate..

The pressure plate is 240 quid.. this a modified version...

The uprated sti clutch I had in my previous wrx was not a paddle clutch, it was a complete circular plate affair with a 1050kg clamping force. I believe this clutch has been used on some 22Bs to give an improvement over the standard on/off clutch. It took some getting used to, but once worn in it was very good and fairly progressive. Cost was about £540 is for the clutch parts (not including flywheel) if i remember correctly. GGR stock this clutch.
