What about an induction kit as the Blitz stainless steel induction kit?
Is it easy to fit? Is there a lot more noise?
Where in the revs is it louder? ....or is it only louder when gear changing?
What I want to know: If U are in 3rd gear and push the car say from 2500 to 6000
is there a difference in sound between the standard filter and the induction kit? Or is
the induction kit only louder when blowing off?

Cool

Hi there...

Chosing an induction kit based on sound isnt the best method... Do you drive a Cossie *sorry couldnt resist*.

The times you will hear more noise is when boost is either being generated (air being sucked in), or when you change gear (BOV/DV venting back to the intake).

An induction kit (especially the Blitz) will increase throttle response (only if you have a free flow exhaust too).

IMHO the Blitz is the best induction kit... the quality is superb.. I believe they are around 150 quid.... simple to fit... and they arent oil impregnated.

Cheers,

J.

ps - I have one installed. Tried panel filters, etc.... HKS induction kit... Prefer the Blitz
