Red face

One thing that has emerged from the two dyno days this weekend is that two RB5's have been tested and have been close on the worst Impreza's for Torque. Is this pure coincidence or not ?. Ive looked at things like milage and mods on the cars etc.

Before my RB5 had the Prodrive treatment I drove it for 1500 miles. It felt a bit short of torque. I put that down to having come from an STI V. In addition it has/still does feel very tight. A lot more so than both my other Scoobies.

Any ideas ?.

the one at well lane only held 11.5 psi, maybe thats the reason for that one being so low compared to the rest?

looking at our figures for the day, it seems the 97/98 cars run the highest boost (all 14-14.5 psi) whereas the my99's ran 13psi and below.

If you look at Mike Molloys figures from Saturday at PE he was getting poor torque.
It doesnt say its an RB5 on the dyno page but it is.

It just seems odd that both Tony Ashton and Mike both seem to have poor torque.

We have seen varying boost presures on STI V's. Tim has pretty much the same mods as Phil Gardeners, but holds more boost.
