Gearbox / Diff Oil additives....
Had my gearbox / diff oil changed last week, due to the amount of ****e that came out, I'm running it for 500 miles and having it changed again...
Is there any point as to adding any extra additives when I change them, ie, Slick50, Molyslip?...
Any advice appreciated!
Matt.

I have used Mollyslip very successfully on noisey gearboxes and back axles in the past but Mollyslip must NOT BE USED on limited slip differentials and that precludes it from use in your Scooby. Look at the information on the packaging.
I am only referring to sound deadening on transmissions and have no idea if they are of benefit on engines as the report above refers to. I do not use any engine or gearbox additives.
A friend assures me that he quitened down a rear diff by adding some sawdust???

Scoob LS diffs are sealed viscous units and it is ok to use any of the GL-5 fluids. A particular favorite is Castrol Syntrax (now packaged as "Driveline")
I don't normally bother with additives but would consider maybe Xtralube ZX1
