I am trying to find out wether the 99/00 UK ecus are linked to the immobiliser, I have been told that if I want to buy a new ecu for my MY00 I have to get one thats been programmed for my key? is this the case or is someone getting confused!!

Cheers

I have swapped between a 801 and a 802 and had no probs, key's do not have to be reprogrammed.
